Mac and Cheese

Is it possible for all kids not to have a mad obsession with macaroni and cheese? I truly didn't think it was likely, considering that was my major food group until I was, oh, about the age of 15.

An exception may have been found though! I brought out the velveeta mac and cheese that my sister sent me in a package, and the two boys that live in the house I'm staying at had no interest in it! I couldn't believe it! I couldn't even get them to try it.

I guess we're even, they don't eat the mac and I don't eat the fish with eyes.

Miss Connie:
I sure to enjoy reading your blog about your adventures with the Peace Corp.
We sure do miss seeing you at FUMCO. It's officially fall now and one leaf might be changing. We are getting ready for the Whale of a Sale. It's still hot; but we have had hints that tease us with cooler temps. Yesterday it rained like crazy which didn't help already flooded areas. You wouldn't believe it but the water on Lake Jesup is as high as the tops of the palm trees.
We hope all is well with you and look forward to reading more blog entries.

Most probably it is because they are are not used to eating mac and cheese. In some parts of the Philippines, some children may not have even seen or tasted macaroni.

i don't know why but this reminded me of when dwight talks about health care...

"In the wild, there is no healthcare. In the wild, heathcare is ow, I hurt my leg, I can’t run, a lion eats me, and I’m dead. Well, I’m not dead. I’m the lion. You’re dead."
